Windows 10: WiFi turns off immediately after Manually turning it on?

Worry no more Win10 comrades, “I got’ya!”.

Windows updates…but don’t we love them! Did one and suddenly my WiFi goes off. I turn it on, quickly opens and discovers Access Points (AP's), but gives me no time to select and connect to one…turns off! It takes me a while googling around:

“WiFi turns off by itself windows 10”, “WiFi Keeps Turning Off” and all others you can imagine.

Most(if not all) of the recommendations revolve around: “Locate the Network adapter and expand the driver icon. Right Click on the network driver and click on Properties. Navigate to Power Management tab and uncheck the option that says “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” — not helpful(for me at least)

Quick fix

open Network settings > Change adapter options

Network Settings

Disable then enable the WiFi Adapter(just right-click on the WiFi adapter)

Lastly and Importantly

Win + R > Enter “services.msc”

Search “WLAN Autoconfig” right click to “restart”

Turn on your WiFi and Enjoy!

We don’t waste time!
